On Saturday November 13, 2016, Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, welcome KG 1 students to the 2016-17 Academic Year.
Students were given a special welcome when they arrived and escorted to their classrooms by the SABIS Student Life Organization® (SLO®) Lower Department prefects. Once in the classroom the prefects distributed sweets to the students, which made them very happy.
The purpose of this activity was to help KG 1 students become better acquainted with the school. It also gave them a cheerful memory of their first day. “I like school, I will not cry for my mom anymore,” said one of the children. To visit the gallery of the event, please click here
