Students at Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS® PPP School in Kurdistan, spent a Saturday having a SABIS Student Life Organization® (SLO®) prefects training on October 15, 2016 to help them in the year ahead.
In the morning all the students came to the school for a meeting with the SABIS® Student Life Coordinator. At the meeting they were introduced to the Head Prefect and Deputy Head Prefect who also explained their role in the SLO®. The Student Management Coordinator also spoke at the meeting and advised the students on how to do their jobs at the school. At the end of the meeting the students each received a badge that showed their title in the SLO® and was a representation of their jobs.
The purpose of this activity was to help students understand the responsibilities that come with the role of being a prefect. “I know how important my role as a prefect is and I can inspire others,” said a student. To visit the gallery of the event, please click here
