SABIS Student Life Organization® (SLO®) prefects at Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, decorated the SLO® room on Thursday, September 15, 2016.
With the help of the art teacher, the students transformed the room with pictures and fresh paint. This way, the SLO® room reflected the students style and became a space that was truly theirs.
By decorating the room and creating a positive atmosphere, the prefects are able to develop, discuss, and be comfortable in their space. It was also a great way to give the students ownership of the space. “It feels like the SLO® room is my second home and I will try to do my best in this room and take care of it,” said a student.
