SULEIMANIAH STUDENTS VISIT JASANA CAVE

On April 27,2019, students in from grades 6 and 7 at Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS ^® PPP school in Kurdistan, took a trip to Jasana Cave.

The students met at the school and took a bus to Jasana Cave all together. On the trip, the teachers and students discussed the history of the place and how it is an important and interesting part of the landscape. The students were amazed once inside the cave and asked many questions. Following the visit, the students had a picnic nearby and shared their food.

The purpose of this activity was to show students an important piece of their landscape and nature and teach them more about the history of the land. “We are really proud that the school arranged this trip for the students and helped them know more about places in their country,” said a parent.
