SULEIMANIAH STUDENTS TAKE PART IN SCIENCE FAIR
Students from all grades in Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, participated in the school Science Fair on April 6, 2019.
The students were asked to create different projects under the theme of “heal the earth” for the science fair. Students from other SABIS® schools in Kurdistan also joined and shared their projects at the science fair. After careful deliberation, the judges chose the winners and Suleimaniah students proudly took 2nd place overall with a project related to filtering ground water.
The purpose of this activity was to inspire students to explore science and think about their own experiments or inventions to share with fellow students and students from other schools. “It was the best experience I have ever had and I am so happy we won 2nd place,” said a student.
