Suleimaniah Students Enjoy Halloween Party
All students at Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, enjoyed a Halloween Party with their school mates on October 31, 2016.
The students were divided into groups for the party so that each age group could have appropriate activities and music to enjoy. The school was decorated with scary decorations for all the kids to get into the spirit of Halloween. The students attended the lunch break party wearing costumes and masks of their favorite characters, some of the teachers dressed up as well! The students spent their time dancing and singing with their friends, and ended the party with some cake and juice.
The purpose of this activity was to teach students about the traditions of Halloween in an enjoyable way. The students really liked the party, especially sharing the experience with their friends and teachers. “It was an amazing day. I wish that we could do this every year,” said a student.
