Suleimaniah Celebrates International Kindness Day
On November 13, 2016, students at Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, celebrated International Kindness Day.
The SABIS Student Life Organization® (SLO®) lead the event that would spread kindness all over the school. The prefects made red hearts that they pinned to their shirts as they went around the school with a basket of chocolate to give staff, teachers, students, and cleaners. Their kindness campaign was felt all around the school and had a positive impact on the school community.
The purpose of this activity was to remind students to be kind in their lives and with one another. The campaign was an inspiration to the other students and adults at the school. “It was an exciting day and made me more aware that any approach with kindness is successful on,” said a student.
