Students Dress Up for Creative Costume Party
KG1 and Grade 5 students at Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS® PPP school, dressed up for a costume party that took place on Saturday, October 31, 2015. Responsible for organizing this event was the SABIS Student Life Organization®’s (SLO®) Activities Department.
At 9:00 a.m., the party started for KG1 and Grade 5 students, who wore different costumes that represented their favorite cartoon characters. Also, some teachers wore costumes during the activity. Each student showed his/her costume to a panel of judges, who gave every participant positive comments. Then, the students played three different types of games. After that, they ate cake and drank juice. The event ended at 11:00 a.m.
Three days prior to the party, the art teacher helped the Activities Department make the games. Additionally, some teachers helped the students make their costumes. Several Grade 5 prefects also volunteered to get things prepared for the event.
Such an activity took place, so that the students could enjoy dressing up and being creative with their costumes. It was also a wonderful event the students got to share with not just their friends, but with their teachers too.
