SLO® Outreach Prefects Visit Children at the Local Hospital

SLO® Outreach Prefects Visit Children at the Local Hospital

The SABIS Student Life Organization®’s Outreach Department at Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS® PPP school, visited young patients at a local hospital on February 20, 2017.

Having previously collected money for this trip, the SLO® prefects were able to buy the patients flowers, gifts, and cakes, which they took with them to the hospital. During their visit, the prefects spent quality time with the patients laughing, singing, and talking together. They also enjoyed some sweet treats together before saying farewell.

The purpose of this activity was to spread happiness to young patients in the hospital. The trip proved to be very successful and most importantly it set an example to others to encourage them to participate in activities that could make a difference. “It felt good to be able to help other children and make them happy,” shared a student.
