Shadow Teachers® at Suleimaniah Attend Workshop
On February 5, 2017, Shadow Teachers® at Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, attended a workshop to help them improve their teaching skills and roles as Shadow Teachers®.
The AQC divided the students into the different subjects they were responsible for, which included math, science, and English. Teachers were then assigned to their subject groups, where they spent the day explaining and working with the Shadow Teachers® on how to teach a class.
The purpose of this work shop was to reinforce the duties of a Shadow Teacher® and help train these students to teach a class in the case of an absent teacher. The workshop was successful that helped guide these students into their new roles. “I learned many new things from my peers and my teachers,” said a student.
