New Students and Teachers at Suleimaniah Tour the SLO
On October X, 2016, new students and teachers at Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, were given a tour of the SABIS Student Life Organization® (SLO®) at the school.
The Activity Coordinator and Ambassador Prefect gathered all the new teachers and students at the school to give them a tour of the SLO® department. During the tour the teachers and staff learned about the structure of SLO® and how it works as one big team. The teachers and students walked away knowing more about SLO®. They learned that SLO® is a place for students to have fun but more importantly allows them to develop their knowledge, skills, and ability to work responsibly and in a team.
The purpose of this activity was to give new students and teachers a better understanding the SLO® and the role it has at school. It proved to be a nice gesture by SLO® to the new faces at the school. “This is the best part of our school, I want to be a prefect too,” said a new student.
