KG 2 Enjoy Cooking Day

On November 17, 2018, the KG 2 students in Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, participated in a Cooking Day activity.

The students arrived to school where they had a chef hat and apron waiting for them to put on. Once they were all geared up, the students watched a demo of their teacher making a pizza. After the demo, student went to their own stations where they began to make their own pizza. Once they were finished, the teacher placed the pizzas into the oven and baked them. Students then enjoyed the opportunity to eat their pizzas with heir friends.

The activity was organized for the young students to allow them to explore cooking and different foods that they had already learned about in the classroom.

“It was a fun experience and I liked to eat the delicious pizza,” said a student.
