KG 1 STUDENTS LEARN ABOUT TIME

Welcome to visit the gallery of the event, please click here On February 23, 2019, KG 1 students at Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, spent an afternoon learning how to tell the time.

The students sat quietly in front of the teachers and listened carefully to the explanation about the clock. Telling the time can be a tricky concept but the teachers made it a fun activity for the young children by making clocks. They started with the general concepts of time such as morning, evening, and night and then went on to identify on the clock the time they sleep at night and the time they wake up in the morning. After playing some time related games, they enjoyed lunch together.

The purpose of the activity was to teach the students about telling the time in a fun and relatable way. “It was a very fun way to learn about telling the time and easy for me to understand,” said a student.
