Hiking Day for Grade 7 in Suleimaniah

The Sports & Health Department of the SLO^® in Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, organized a hike for Grade 7 students.

The students headed to Azmar Mountain where they hiked all the way to the top. Once at the top, the students had lunch. The students also came up with an idea to fill buckets with water for the birds to have plenty of water to drink.

The purpose of the activity was to encourage students to participate in healthy activities and spend some time outdoors in nature.

“It was an amazing trip with my friends and teachers,” said a student.
