Grade 6 Students at Suleimaniah Go Skating

On April 1, 2017, Grade 6 students and staff at Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS® PPP school, enjoyed an ice skating activity at the Family Mall ice skating rink.

When the students and staff arrived to the ice skating rink they were given ice skates to wear and then headed straight to the ice where there were plastic dolphins to help keep them from falling. Not all the students knew how to skate, so the students who did took the time to teach the others. After skating, the students went to the cafeteria to get a snack.

The activity was organized to give students the chance to participate in something enjoyable together and build friendships with their classmates. It proved to be very successful and student were really happy to skate together. “I fell so many times, but it was worth it!” said a student. To visit the gallery of the event, please click here.
