Grade 4 Students Experience History at Amna Soreke

On February 20, 2016, Grade 4 students in Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS® PPP school, visited Amna Soreke, an important historical site and museum in Kurdistan.

Upon arrival, students were greeted by a guide who took them around the museum and explained the different artifacts and pictures to the students. The students walked around the museum with the guide and carefully listened to the stories about their culture and history.

The visit to Amna Soreke was an educational one that reminded the students of their history and culture. Moreover, the trip brought the students closer together. “It’s amazing to see how the students bond when they are aware of their common culture and history,” said a teacher.
