GRADE 1 STUDENTS VISIT THE ZOO

Grade 1 students in Suleimaniah International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, visited the zoo on January 26, 2019.

When the students arrived to the zoo they visited with the dogs, monkeys, goats, rabbits, ostriches, foxes, bears, and other animals. Once they finished their tour, the students were given the opportunity to feed the animals and learn about their behavior and lifestyle.

The trip to the zoo was an educational and enjoyable one for the students. It taught the students more about the animals that they learned about in the classroom and also gave them a sense of compassion towards animals. “It was a fun day with my friends and I liked seeing you all the animals,” said a student
